What does dementia feel like in its early stages?

In the early stages of dementia, you're just forgetful. You don't know if this happened or not. You don't remember if someone said something or not.

How does forgetfulness affect emotions and behavior over time?

It increases their frustration. It can lead to abnormal behaviour with time. This condition of walls leading to risky behaviour, meaning things that we would normally not do that can put us in danger.

What happens in the later stages of dementia?

Unfortunately, it will continue to evolve to later stages where these people will develop poor eating, poor mobility, and they will need a lot of help to do everything that they do daily. That means the people who take care of people living with dementia will need to be able to do their basic daily activity.
