Who are you?
My name is Felicity Hayward. I am an OG plus size model. I'm a writer, I'm an activist, and I have a rescue dog called Matcher.
When did you realise you could challenge beauty standards?
When I was first interviewed for British Vogue, I realised that I was in a space that didn't particularly like bigger women, and I knew that because I had my finger in this certain pie that I could definitely try and make a change at that moment.
How did you first step into the fashion world?
I was dancing on a table to Diana Ross in an East London pub, and a casting director came up to me and asked me if I would like to do a shoot as Anna Nicole Smith, who by the way, was a big icon of mine, big curvy blonde, amazing woman. And I thought, yeah, why not? Why would I not want to do a shoot as her? My Nan and Granddad will love the fact that I've managed to get in this coffee table magazine book. I just thought a bit of fun.
